B&M Maps, showing 1955 divisions

If there are any errors on this page, or additional information you would like to include, please contact me directly (Ken Akerboom)

The system map is a copy of the circa 1930 map of the B&M on the B&MRRHS Web site, colored to show the individual divisions. For trackage that was abandoned before 1955, I have arbitrarily assigned it to (at least to me) the most logical division.

Track removed or sold before the system map's data map (e.g. to Sherbrooke, Quebec, CA) not yet assigned to divisions.

The 3 detailed maps came from a November, 1945 B&M System map. Divisions are coded the same as for the system map.

There was a chart of the history of the various divisions in the B&MRRHS Bulletin (date and issue escape me for the moment)

Division Color Code

Division Color
Portland Yellow
New Hampshire Green
Boston (Terminal) Red
Fitchburg Magenta
Conn River Cyan
