We all have our lists... Dave Letterman has his "Top 10" lists. Here is my list of projects that I'm considering as time and money allow:
- Replace brake and marker lights with LEDs. This would decrease current draw, and help isolate grounding problems. I think I'm still having some grounding problems, but don't know for sure.
- Rewire master switch, so that it disconnects the negative terminal of the battery.
- Install new strobe light.
- Install RR radio. This would be a great improvement, and allow for safer operations when operating on live railroad tracks.
- Repaint motorcar to pre-restoration silver and yellow scheme. Seal all the seams and holes in the roof. Reapply triangle warning sign.
- Build lighting control circuit to provide automatic directional light control. See Kenneth Huffines article on the NARCOA Technical Articles page.
- Buy a quad-cab, short-bed GMC Canyon
- Repair the turntable
